Re: Request for PASJ Manuscripts and Additions to Editorial Board

Within the next few months there will be new appointments to the Professional Animal Scientist Journal Editorial Board. Members of the Editorial Board can expect to receive from two to four manuscripts annually. Due to prompt time schedule of publishing in the PASJ, reviewers are usually requested to return manuscripts within 30-40 days. Editorial Board members are needed with expertise in essentially all disciplines and for all species. If you are interested in becoming a member of the Editorial Board, or if you wish to nominate a colleague, please contact: Lowell L. Authors of original research, review or case study manuscripts are reminded of the opportunities to publish in the PASJ. Of particular interest are review manuscripts on issues of contemporary interest within animal agriculture. Papers presented at symposia, or summaries of symposia that are in PASJ style and format are also acceptable pending review by the Editorial Board. News, notes, and letters summarizing industry events or contemporary issues may also be submitted. The time between submission and publication of manuscripts ranges from 4 to 6 months.
