This year’s ARPAS Symposium--which alternates between being hosted at either the American Dairy Science Association (ADSA) or the American Society of Animal Science Annual Meetings—is coming to the ADSA 2026 Annual Meeting from June 21 to 24, 2026, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin!
Our full day of programming on Monday, June 22, 2026, will cover emerging science around the transition period--the most critical stage of the dairy cow production cycle. Nutrition during this period remains an active frontier despite decades of research. There will be new insights into nutrient metabolism and immune regulation.
The morning Joint ARPAS Symposium session will focus on recent insights into calcium absorption and transport, its interaction with inflammation, and potential outcomes of both established and novel hypocalcemia-management strategies. The afternoon session, featuring three speakers sponsored by ARPAS donors, will focus on dietary strategies to optimize transition cow performance.
Attendees will be provided with timely, actionable knowledge regarding this key period in the dairy cow production cycle. The event is eligible for 21 continuing education units (CEUs).
