Update from the Business Office

Brittany Morstatter

It is a new era at the FASS office as a brand new membership database went live in August. As with any significant update, there are growing pains with the transition. On behalf of FASS, thank you all for your patience during this time, as we work out any glitches that occur during the transition of thousands of members across 16 different societies into the new system.

With this new database, ARPAS members will see a more user-friendly platform for updating information and renewing membership dues – AND – over the coming months will continue to see upgrades to the ARPAS website, with better functionality and easier navigation.

Additionally, the new system will allow ARPAS to gain better insight into its membership by collecting better demographic information. Beginning this fall, during the renewal process, while updating contact information members will be required to complete additional questions. These questions will relate to profession, interests, other societal memberships, etc. and will allow ARPAS the opportunity to better serve the needs of its members. (None of the information collected will be shared outside of ARPAS.)

As always, if you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact BrittanyM@assochq.org.
