Incoming President's Letter

Jack Garrett, Ph.D., Dipl. ACAS

I am looking forward to an exciting year of advancement for ARPAS and hope to serve you well as your president for this year. Over 25 years ago I became a member of ARPAS and then in 1995 became a certified diplomat in ACAS. I believed in the future of ARPAS then and continue to have that faith as we move forward.

I want to thank Dr. Michael Galyean for his service and leadership as president last year. I only hope I can fill his shoes adequately. I will be leaning on Michael, Ken Cummings, Bob Wettemann, and Jeremy Holzner for their guidance and advice through the coming year. I also want to encourage the ARPAS Executive Committee to continue their strong work efforts in guiding this society.

Outgoing President's Letter

Michael Galyean, PAS, Dipl. ACAS

ARPAS has made several significant accomplishments this past year, but let me start by acknowledging that our success is largely attributable to the hard work and dedication of Executive Vice President, Kenneth Cummings. Kenneth keeps the “balls in the air” for ARPAS. I truly appreciate his faithful service, positive attitude, and common-sense approach to conducting business for our organization.

Executive Vice-President’s Report

Kenneth Cummings, PAS, Dipl. ACAN, Exec. VP, ARPAS

ARPAS as an organization had a great year in 2013-2014. Thanks to our dedicated volunteer leadership, our FASS administrative liaison Jeremy Holzner and the FASS support staff, our members have been provided with an outstanding level of service.

The ARPAS leadership has sought new opportunities to enhance organizational objectives of certification, continuing education and adherence to our code of ethics while living within our financial constraints.
