ARPAS is about creating a culture of integrity in our industry by virtue of our commitment to a code of ethics and professional accreditation. Membership is the key element because it contributes to our critical mass in the industry. Thus, membership has to be a key objective in a multifaceted approach.

Report for January 1—December 31, 2021

This report is divided into three parts:

1. performance data about the submission-review-editorial-publication process of Applied Animal Science (AAS) for 2021 compared with the previous four years;
2. activities and changes in 2021; and
3. anticipated work and activities for 2022 and forward.

The ARPAS Foundation is in a great financial state this year. No new amendments have been passed over the past year (since January 2021).

In December 2021, funds were approved for support of the PNW Chapter’s 2022 scholarship program.

Last, just a reminder that an application form for requesting funding is available on the ARPAS website along with a paper version of a donation form that can be used to make donations to the foundation. Individuals can also submit donations online.
